District Court Judge Karen Schreier and two Magistrate judges Veronica Duffy and Daneta Wollman are the well-qualified women currently serving on the federal bench in South Dakota.

According to Gavel Gap, 15% of South Dakota’s state court judges are white women compared to 42% of the state population and 4% are women of color compared to 8% of the population.
